Good Friday morning! The wind is the big weather story today. Any leftover showers will end this morning. Skies will slowly clear toward midday. Sunshine returns this afternoon. Northwest winds will gust to 40 mph at times and temperatures will struggle to reach 50-degrees. This morning will be the windiest part of the day. The skies will be clear tonight and the wind will diminish, leaving the area with near ideal conditions for frost to form in the suburbs by early Saturday morning. Frost advisory is in effect for the Twin Cities and most metro counties. A freeze warning is in effect for the outer suburbs. The wind will be light at first on Saturday and then pick up from the southwest. Winds from the southwest are 99.99% of the time warmer than a northwest wind around here. This weekend will be no exception. Expect afternoon temperatures today to near 60 on Saturday and then the middle to upper 60’s to near 70 from Sunday into next week! Have a nice
